(Richmond, IN)–Michael Pruitt admitted to investigators that he struck Caleb Woosley once, but said two other teens who have yet to be charged hit the 17-year-old boy at least 40 times with a baseball bat, ultimately resulting in his death. Those are among the details released in an affidavit Thursday. The boys had planted baseball bats under a porch and lured Woosley into an alley behind North 14th Street. Charges are imminent against the two other boys who, according the affidavit, were directly involved in the beating death Woosley. On his Facebook page, one of those two boys mourns the loss of Woosley. But, posts in the last month also talk about dealing drugs, drive-by shootings, and getting the words “die hard” tattooed on his eyelids.
